Brisket was good. Ribs lacked flavor. Mash taters needed sauce for a flavor.

Here again ... Brisket was weak on smoke and strong on fat. Missed the mark. Ribs were really tasty. Sides are delicious. Strawberry cheesecake was today's best offering. Love the place but today was off a little bit.

Awesome pulled pork sandwich and twice-baked potatoes.

You can actually taste the smoke! Ribs had a good flavor from the rub but were a little too "fall off the bone" for me. The brisket actually had a smoke ring! Most restaurants seem to wrap their meat to soon and loose the smoke, not here at Neeman's. Never reached for the BBQ sauce

Not their best showing tonight. Everything was a little off. Hope for better next time.

Great bark on the brisket. Try their smoked pork chop.

Brisket was delicious. Moist withou being too fatty. Great meat crust. Sausage wasn't as good as advertised. Not bad. I was just expecting more.

Brisket, ribs, and brisket sandwich were all delicious. You gotta try the cheesecake also. It all gets better each time we come by.

Darby Neaves wanted to be included in the page of Texas Monthly, and he knew that wouldn’t happen with a food truck set up in Arkansas, even if it was just ten miles north of the Red River in Ashdown. It was still worrisome moving his business into the city, but after Justin Fourton of Pecan Lodge calmed Neaves’s nerves during a visit to the Dallas barbecue joint, he was ready. Late last year he found…
