They give you a sh** ton of food! The smoked turkey was moist and delicious ! The lean brisket was not dry and had a great flavor! The fatty brisket was right on point! Great stop for some good Q!

Huge helpings!! The Leon's Cut (fatty brisket) was excellent...could've used a little more smoke bit great texture and taste. The ribs needed more smoke. The downtown links were very smokey and delicious. The turnips greens and spicy rice were excellent sides! Will definitely be back!!

It was excellent. The brisket on this visit wasn't dry at all. It was really good. The ribs had a nice seasoning to them, which made up for the slight dryness. Overall this place was awesome.

I was in town fishing and I thought I'd give this place a try. The service from the young lady was excellent. I ordered a pound of ribs and a 1/2 pound of brisket. The brisket was cut thick and most of it was dried. The few pieces that were edible were good and had a good smoke flavor. I would really like give the brisket another try next time to see if it is more moist. The ribs were really good. In my opinion the sauce was delicious...just the way I like it.

Had an opportunity to partake in this Galveston staple and it was a major surprise. The brisket was outstanding with a crust that was unbelievable. The only issue that I would cite is the lack of a smoke ring on the meat. I also ordered the pork ribs that were underwhelming and weren't tender. For the legendary status and acclaim that Leon's ribs had received I was left wanting a much better rib. I also had some pretty good sides but nothing mind blowing.
