This place is getting better. I had brisket and a pork rib today. Both were amazing. Brisket was better than I remembered and definitely rivals Franklin. The ribs are different. They use a sweeter baste. Apple cider vinegar and something else I assume. Very good.

Can't beat this brisket in Texas!

Sausage and ribs were great. The brisket was good with a nice crusted bark on it but it seemed to lack enough smoky flavor on this visit. Gotta love the free keg beer though and the atmosphere was nice with an open picnic feel to it. Will definitely be back.

Housed in a little trailer with a few picnic tables under old pecan and live oak trees, this eatery opened in 2011…
